

SUNNY SUNDAY
It was Philippe’s mother’s ninetieth birthday today and a midday meal had been planned to celebrate, before heading off we took the dogs for a quick walk. For the past week, the weather here in the Lot has been, if not at its sunniest, invitingly mild so walking Lili and Tiki recently has become a pleasure and not a chore. SPRING HAS SPRUNG
After a beautiful sunset last night we woke up to an equally beautiful Sunday morning. Before taking our two very impatient dogs Lili and Tiki for a walk, I did the rounds of the garden and potager, camera in hand, to check for signs of spring. They were everywhere! When we got back, Philippe immediately set to work installing the posts for a new chicken run for our beloved Chooks. CAYFEST RED SALE, GRAND CAYMAN
Last Saturday my mother Margaret, her great friend Sarah Bailey and my agent Gillian Allan set up a Jan Barwick booth at the Cayfest Red Sale, on Grand Cayman. It was a family affair, my brother Simon helped Gillian hang the show (www.bbandp.com) and Gillian’s husband Rob installed the lighting.
