SUNNY SUNDAY
It was Philippe’s mother’s ninetieth birthday today and a midday meal had been planned to celebrate, before heading off we took the dogs for a quick walk. For the past week, the weather here in the Lot has been, if not at its sunniest, invitingly mild so walking Lili and Tiki recently has become a pleasure and not a chore.
There are more and more signs of spring everywhere.

On the way back, Philippe stopped to talk to our neighbour Pascal who was busy adding to his ever growing woodpile.
We can safely replant our phormiums outside.
Looks like we’ll have strawberries by May.
Philippe finished the chicken-run yesterday, full chooks approval.
Soon time to mow the Back 40!
