JACKIE'S NOT IN FRANCE, SHE'S IN GREECE...
Thank you Jan, for the wonderful idea of inviting artists to add a little to your blogsite. A great idea and I’m sure it will prove a successful one! To introduce myself, I’m a Mixed Media Artist who grew up in New Zealand, and I’ve spent most of my adult life in Sydney. My adventures began when, to celebrate a milestone birthday, I ventured off to France for 3 months to spend the winter painting. SUNNY SUNDAY
It was Philippe’s mother’s ninetieth birthday today and a midday meal had been planned to celebrate, before heading off we took the dogs for a quick walk. Whenever Philippe and I have a rendezvous in Provence or the Camargue we always take the Millau route, at least one way, and each time we do we fall in love with it all over again. Here are a few facts about it: The Millau Viaduct is a cable-stayed bridge that spans the valley of the River Tarn near Millau in southern France. De

A WINTER'S WALK
At a loss for inspiration on the first day of the new blog, it dawned on me that taking a walk with Philippe and our dogs, Tiki and Lili, might help clear the brain. Delighted to report that it did. After a chilly week of gloomy grey skies, the sun reappeared today and there's nothing more beautiful than our little pocket of the Lot on a sunny winter's morning. Our hamlet, Les Mespoules, lies about one and half kilometres below the tiny village of St Caprais and Tiki and Lil
